My Most Reached For Products

Whether it be Rain, Hail or Shine, I find myself reaching for the same products over and over, so I thought  I should show you exactly what these products are!

Firstly I tend to Change up my Foundation, but other products used in the routine stay the same, like my Primer. This is the Inika Pure Primer which can be Found HERE. This is a wonderful Organic, Vegan Primer, which as well as being a wonderful base for your make up, is actually good for your skin. This is how the Website Describes it:

"INIKA Pure Primer (50ml) is a certified organic blend that offers protection and hydration for the skin prior to makeup application.

With delectable ingredients such as macadamia oil, avocado and apricot, Pure Primer preps the skin, providing an even canvas for foundation application and improves the staying power of your make-up."

My Favourite things about this product is that it does it's job, you can literally feel it smoothing out your skin. and the scent, a beautiful soft Lavender with subtle undertones of the oils that feature in the Primer

My Next most reached for product is my Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer ( Bourjois Delice De Poudre) in 51 (which is the Lighter Shade). I cannot say more amazing things about this Product! its soft and silky smooth, a lovely deep bronze and not a hit of orange or muddy brown, it compliments my pale, yellow under toned skin perfectly, and it smells amazing! gah! I use this products to contour and as a blush on my cheeks on occasion, especially on a night out, OH and it has the best staying power!

Another Inika Product is there Mineral Illuminisor, which I actually purchased under the pretences that it was a Champagne colour highlighting powder. It is in actual Fact a very pink Highlighter. At first I really disliked this product, because I was applying as you would a normal highlight and had Pink, shimmery, Unflattering places on my face, but after I tweaked my Foundation Routine a little bit, I found that, applied to my cheeks sort of as a blush, it made my skin look warm and glowy, just stunning, so it allows me to fake it till I make it!

My next most reached for product is something that I've only had for just over two months, so it doesn't really fit the bill, but as it is a lipstick, and I haven't long been wearing lipstick on a regular basis, I think it should be included. This is Revlon's Lustre Lipstick in the Colour 'Melonade' which is a Beautiful Pinkie Coral colour. This has Opaque Coverage but is a very build-able colour is you want it to be. This isn't an overly creamy lipstick (even though it is a creme), I find it to be the perfect consistency for a lipstick. I have worn this almost every day for the last two months.

My last all time most reached for product is my Max Factor 'False lash Effect Mascara' which is a reasonably well known product already, but is my HOLY GRAIL mascara, I cannot imagine not having this in my make up Collection. I highly recommend that you try this at least once, it may not be for you, but this gives me super long, super voluminous, super stunning BLACK lashes.

SPRING TREND: Muted Colour Blocking

Although Summer is about to come to a close in the Northern Hemisphere, Spring is just about to dawn on us down here and that means things are about to get a whole lot brighter. After having a reasonably dark Winter as far as Fashion goes, The colour Blocking, that was seen with a predominatly Monochrome Palette is about to get a make over.

Colour blocking with brights were massive this season in the Northern Hemisphere, and although it is our turn, it feels a little over done, time for something new, so its time to turn it down a tad, Mute it!

'Wish' has got this trend down pat, continuing there always beautiful, soft and flowy style, they have added a few harded pieces this season which are all right on trend. Three of the Pieces are Beautifuly Tailored Blazers each in a Stunning Muted tone, including the soft Mauve seen above.
Slightly Tonning down a bright colour makes it that much easier to wear and to mix into an outfit, and 'Mink Pink' simply softened there normal palette to create this season collection of button up blouses and swing top. This orange shirt is a perfect example of this.
Never one to be Late on anything, Topshop has a large range of Muted tones for their Autumn/Winter season that can easily been translated to Spring if needed. This Blazer is just one of their Pieces (which I LOVE), but whether it be Shirts, Skirts, Shorts or Tops, they have done it all!

Let me know if you try this trend or what you think of it!

I ONLY WANT ONE PAIR

So im sure buy now you hav heard of The Jeffery Campbell 'Lita' Shoes, or have seen a similar style shoes somewhere, well I LOVE them!

Whether its the Origional Black, or one of the many many colours and styles that have been released, this sturdy and amazingly beautiful shoe just appeals to me! Could you imagine walking in these babies, massive platform, so supprisingly comfortable, thick block heel so none of that wobblyness and full lace up, so no chance of falling off your feet, and they look A-MA-ZING, could you ask for anything more...I think not
Some on the most interesting designs include these stunning 'cosmic' designs which mesh pink and blue stunningly, and although they have no actual sparkle in them, they just seem to ligh up any outfit. Gah!
With the more unusual style, these furry shoes seem like a mixture of a fur coat and the basic 'Lita' outline. Although they are not my personal favourite they just ad to the appeal of Jeffery Campbell!
It just seems like Stars and Stripes never get old, but these shoes take this look to a whole new level. These do have more of a 70's roller derby feel, but that just makes them that much better. The Quality and Style is to perfection! and I hope you enjoy them just as much as I do!

OROFLUIDO

Im Pretty sure I can Guarantee that the majority of people know what Moroccan oil is by now, but for those who don't, it is an oil that you put in your hair to make it smooth, soft and shiny. Generally it is a blend of a few different oils, there are a few variations. Now the most popular is 'Moroccan Oil' the brand, and it has had rave reviews on everything from Blog's to YouTube to just everyday life, but there are other options if your willing to try.

About six moths ago my Auntie introduced me to a brand called 'Orofluido' which is a brand of hair care sold a variation of places, she personally discovered it through her hair dresser in Melbourne who cannot say enough good things about this product, and I couldn't wait to try it.

So I just had to Order it!

I went to www.catwalk.com which is a site that retails beauty related items and found an amazing deal which I will get to in a minute. Please Have a look at the full range of products here at www.orofluido.com/en/index.asp

So the deal I got was $49.95 for a 100ml bottle of the Orofluido Beauty Elixir, 3X5ml Sample Sizes of the Same Elixir, Two Combs (a Double Ended Comb and a Tail Comb) and Free Shipping, Which I believe is a very good deal.
Shown above is the 100ml Elixir compared to the three 5ml Sample sizes to show the size difference. I was very excited to receive these because I can keep on in my hand bag, one in my car, one next to my bed and still have the full size in my bathroom where it needs to be!

This Elixir is the most amazing Product, I tend to use it through the ends on my hair and run a small amount through the lengths, I also apply it to the underneath of my hair where there is the most damage. It has the most amazing scent which is like a warm, sweet vanilla smell that I cannot get enough off, seriously if this came in a fragrance or a candle I would buy it in a second. The smell might not be for everyone, and it lingers, so if you don't like the scent then its not for you
These are the two combs that came with it, these will come in handy when I move in a few moths because I share combs with my mum and sister, so I can now take these two!

I hope you found this helpful, if you have any questions just let me know!

Pantene Clinicare Single Does Hair Treatment for Severely Chemically Damaged Hair

I have very Dry and Chemically Damaged Hair from Years of Bleaching it Blonde and recently colouring a more natural colour, so it is no surprise that I need to take Special Measures to Keep my hair Healthy. Over the years I have Tried Many different solutions for dry and damaged hair and have had varied levels of success. One of my Favourite Products to use was the Pantene '3minute miracle treatment', which I still love, so when Pantene released their Clinicare Lines earlier this year, I was more then willing to give this treatment a go!
So I Purchased the 5 Pack (one of which I have used sorry) for around $15 from Chemist warehouse (a cheap Chain store of Chemists). I quite like the Packaging, it is very similar to all of Pantene's other Lines but the Gold and Pale blue compliment each other nicely and the reserved products packaging give it a more high end feel.
The way I use this Product is as a hair mask, after I have Shampooed and Conditioned my hair. I apply and leave for 5 Minutes (you can leave it for just three if you want but I prefer a longer time) and then rinse off and then style as normal.

I LOVE this product. It is in essence similar to the '3minute Miracle treatment but I feel I get much better results each use then with the other product. I recommend using this once or twice a week if you have dry and damaged hair, or every one to two weeks if you have normal hair, I'm not sure how this would go in Oily hair but I assume it would be alright to use as it does not leave residue or make my hair oily at all.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chipping Top Coat

Recently I Purchased the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat after seeing it in stores all over the place and hearing raving reviews on YouTube from many of the wonderful beauty Guru's. So I went to Priceline (for those who don't know Priceline in a Chemist (or drug store) that sells a lot of beauty related products) and armed with a Voucher and a discount already coming of it, was lucky to get it for just $8.00.
So I was very keen to try it out. The first time I tried it was over Essie's 'Borrowed and Blue' which was from their wedding collection a while back (which is a very light pastel powder blue) and at first I was in love! My nails felt strong and so smooth and the shine was amazing. I also found that not one mark appeared on the nails because it dried so fast. That day I did not have a chip or a crack at all which was lovely, but by the next day three of my nails had serverly chipped away, which I was extremely dissapointed about.
The next day I used it atop Revlon's 'lilac Pastille' which is a very pale purple, and again my nails felt strong and looked amazingly shiny, but did get a few marks because Revlon Nail polishes are so slow drying. I have now had the polish on for three days and not a single chip, so im not entirely sure what is the go with this but i love the effect it gives on the nails and now it is lasting very well! wish me luck!
